when I married. Further, I was told, the only way to retain it would be to file a law suit to legally change it back. I have at this point adopted my husband's name for social security and job applications, although somewhat against my wishes. Is it possible to use both names and exactly what is my position legally? I am residing in Virginia at the moment. I would appreciate any assistance you could give me, if only the address of an organization which could answer my inquiry.
