Dec 23 Dear Mary, I'm sorry that I've taken so long to respond to your letter of Dec 14. My life has been extremely hectic. I have filled out a questionnaire for the whole women's group. I will try to distribute the other you sent after vacation, but due to the spectre of exams, meetings at the Law School will be unattended for the month of January, I believe. Concerning Lucius Smejda and the panel business, it has fizzled out. We had one speaker and ^then a lunch program on sexism in the law school, but that wasn't a raving success. The Human Rights Institute people messed up publicity and were generally disorganized. I was disappointed. Our group has started arranging a series of lectures for second semester on women and legal issues pertaining to them. I will let you know as soon as we get the series scheduled. It will be designed for the Columbia Community in general-- i.e. not too legally technical.
