Miss Catharine Stimpson 352 Bowery New York City, New York

Dear Miss Stimpson:

We be We we

have been told that at some time in the future you might interested in meeting with the Westbeth Feminist Playwrights. are not at all clear as to what the project might be, but would be delighted to meet with you in any event.

For your information, here is a short resume of our work:

In the past year we have participated in a festival of plays celebrating the opening of Westbeth; we have organized,a

company of actors who have read five of our new full-length plays for the benefit of the playwrights and our sister Westbethans; we have held two workshops, during each of which

a minimum of ten playwrights wrote on common themes. and we

have researched and explored other tools and media for the playwright, including compressed speech and video tape. This past May we wrote, produced and in some cases directed an evening of ten scenes presented at the Assembly Theatre entitled Rape—In.

The official playwrights‘ representatives are Dolores Walker and Pat Horan. Do contact us if you need further information.

Sincerely,
