NW4‘ Mrs . Gould Barbara Hertz 5/l7f71 I had a call this morning from Mrs. Elaine Shepa, a Barnard mother, who had seen my comments on the Women’s Center in Bulletin. Mrs. Sheps in most enthusiastic about the idea of a Women's Center. She is a trial lawyer and particularly interested in the problem of d1scr1m~ ination in graduate schools. Her ﬂaughter is Karen Deane ’72, an Urban Studies major and headed for Law School. Mrs. Shep: is anxious to be involved in the Canter-~adv1ce, money, speakers, meetings with graduate school deans-—you name it. Her office is: 160 Broadway, DI 9-1455.
