 Dear Catharine,

Thanks for your note. I think it would be best if you will write to Jane Grant, using my name, telling her about the Women's Center (sending her the new booklet) and [make] or ask for a chance to see her in the city. She is not very well: quite elderly. But you might anyway ask her to a luncheon in The [Deanery] to meet some of our people. And tell her right off that we are interested in her collection. Her address is

 White Flower Farm
 Litchfield, Conn.

but she is in the city now and again all winter. Otherwise some of us ought to go see her in Litchfield

 before Radcliffe wakes up!

I have told her about our interest in her collection. I think the best move is for you to get in touch with her now: the creation of the Women's Center will impress her, I feel sure, that we are "worthy"!

 Yours,

 Basil
