Dear Cathariness

If you really don't want to be our leader and
if we really are looking for a high-powered person to
become Director of our Center, should we not approach
Ruth Adams who, I hear, has joined or is about to join
the ranks of the unemployed?

Egad, Madam Chairman, let not the grass grow
under our feet on this one. I can't imagine a better
person.

cordially,
