Edith Somborn Issacs Scrapbook

This collection consists of the scrapbook of Barnard College alum Edith Somborn Issacs, Barnard class 1906. Somborn was the associate editor of the Barnard Bulletin, worked as student manager of the Barnard fund, participated in theatrical production, and was secretary of the Barnard Zoological club. She co-wrote the opera Barnadesia with classmate Banche Marks, which made the case for the Barnard dormitories. The scrapbook contains programs from productions, articles from the Barnard Bulletin, event invitations, personal correspondence, dance cards, and doodles from class notebooks.
