The collection covers the period from the fall of 1892, when she matriculated at Barnard, until her graduation in the spring of 1896. Jessie May Wendover was born in Nokomis, Illinois in 1872. As a child she moved to Newark, New Jersey, and graduated from Newark High School. Her major subject of study at Barnard College was Latin, while her other fields of study included Sociology, Greek, and French. As a commuter, she was not able to participate in any extracurricular activities. After college she continued to reside in Newark. She died around 1960. Show less
