The scrapbooks provide detailed records of Jewett’s time at Barnard, and contain schedules, newspaper clippings, programs, correspondence, photographs, and class songs. The collection also includes Jewett’s poetry and short stories, and copies of her published work Felicity Finds a Way, and work included in St. Nicholas Magazine for Boys and Girls. The scrapbook contains notes, newspaper clippings, handwritten entries, cyanotypes, song lyrics and music, speeches, invitations, photographs, programs, transcripts, exams, dance cards, and ephemera. The scrapbook focuses mainly on Jewett's extracurricular and social activities, including her role as class president, social activities with friends, and planning for commencement ceremonies. Of note are materials relating to a meeting of delegates from the Women's Intercollegiate Association for Student Government, including students from Aldelphi, the Women's College of Brown, Bryn Mawr, Goucher, Mount Holyoke, Radcliffe, Swarthmore, Vassar, Wellesley, and Sweet Briar College, among others.
