I deliberately [featured] her NOT giving all her annual gift ^$5,000 to the Women's Center - for Barnard's (+ Duke Abbotts!) sake, but Elizabeth is intellectually so attuned to the Center that there is a plus in breaking her into the idea of an annual gift to B.C. AND an extra to the CENTER for the next few years. She gave $100,000 to our Ford campaign. I hope when she is in N.Y. in Jan. that we can all meet for a drink.
